Annabeth eating something while modeling a scarf I made.
On Tuesday night Hannah got a new soccer ball, (her favorite sport) and so on Wednesday we got Dad to play with us before he went to work.
While we were playing, Annabeth and David were playing with chalk.
A few days ago Annabeth decided to put on Hannah's glasses. She put them on her nose, so it wasn't harmful to her eyes. And she was so cute I HAD to take a picture.
Yesterday, Sarah, Jonathan, Annabeth and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. We had a lot of fun.
Sarah was pretending to talk on Mom's cell phone, which we always take with us in case of emergencies.
This is a statue-type thing that one of our neighbors has in their front yard. I think it's pretty neat.
This is the horse that one of our neighbors has.
It's kind of interesting. One of our neighbors just has a bunch of horse shoes on his fence.
We did have a little mishap on the way back, though. We were almost home, and Jonathan pointed in front of us a few yards and said "snake!". Sure enough, there was a snake slithering across the road in front of us. I have no idea what kind of snake it was, but it was pretty long. So, we backed up a few yards and Jonathan got out the cell phone to call Mom. So David answered the phone and went to go get Mom. But before Mom was able to say anything, either she accidentally hung up, or the phone hung itself up. So Jonathan tried to call back, and the phone went dead. So our route is in a big circle, so the only way to get back home is to go all the way back, and we knew that if we were gone that long Mom would try and call us, and because the phone was dead she would get really worried. So while we were standing in the middle of the road trying to figure out what to do, Mom tried twice to call back. Since we didn't answer, Mom thought something was wrong, and was getting worried. So, she got in the car, drove up the road, and picked us up. You should have seen how fast she was going. Poor Mom, she was scared half to death. So, all was well. But it was a pretty...interesting walk.
Last night at church we had an ice cream social after service. It was a whole lot of fun. I just had vanilla ice cream with Reese's Pieces on it. *sigh* That's the best ice cream combination ever. After we were all done eating, we all went outside and played in the sand pit that was there. One of the other churches that goes there was going to make a volleyball court, but never finished. So, all that's left is a bunch of sand, which is fine, because we all have a lot of fun playing in it. We played tag, some of the other kids did relay races, and we played Red Rover. I think Red Rover is one of the best games ever, and it's not just a big kid or just a little kid game. After Red Rover we headed home.
This morning our VERY good friends the Lynch's came over to play. We had a lot of fun.
Left to Right: David, Jonathan, Patrick, Selah, and Andrew.
We were all having a lot of fun playing fooseball, and I think David took this picture, so part of Patrick's head is cut off.
Andrew was having a fun time playing with the bunnies, who were inside at the time.
Selah, Annabeth, Savana and Sarah.
Andrew was ALSO having fun playing with our Armor of God set.
I'm actually surprised Hannah was able to get this picture of Savana, because every time I tried to get one, she always turned her face away.
Mom, Mrs. Lynch, Selah, David, Andrew, Annabeth and Patrick.
Patrick and Jonathan posing together. We've been friends with the Lynch's since I was about 5. So we've known them for an awfully long time. It was really nice for them to come over.
Well, that's all for now! I'll try to post more this week than I did last week. OK?
Kayla
