Sea World
We went to Sea World on Sunday and had a BLAST!
The Sea World sky tower. We had so much fun going up into it!
This is the stage where we watched their dolphin show. Now, I have to tell you, the whales at that show are MALICIOUS! We sat it the 'soak zone' (much to Mom's and my dismay) and we got DRENCHED. The whales acutally came along the sides of the tank and splashed us all with water. And they did it 4 times! We bought some blankets ahead of time to try and keep from getting wet, and the water went right through them.
This is a view from the sky ride. It's basically a zip line that you sit in and you ride right over Mission Bay.
David had such a good time posing with Telly. Just look at his face!
And they say homeschooled kids are unsocial. Hmph!
Sarah, Annabeth and I up on the sky ride.
There was such pretty landscape, so we took pictures all over the park.
Checking out the starfish. Some people even picked them up.
We got ice cream, and Dad, David and Annabeth started making faces at each other.
This is one of their fun mirrors. David was having such a great time, as you can tell.
Watching the Shamu show. (and this time we sat up at the top)
These were some Beluga whales that we saw. They were so funny!
It was as if there were a bazillion penguins there.
This was at the shark encounter. It was really neat. You were in this tunnel and the sharks swam over us.
This was a view from the sky tower. You went up 300 feet in the air and it spun around. You could see for miles.
Well, that's all for sea world. I'm going to have to do some more posts for the other parks.
